SUMMER CAMP C.I.T. PROGRAM

Open to Experienced Campers Ages 16-18

The Ithaca Media Arts C.I.T. Program:

A unique opportunity for experienced campers to become a CIT – Counselor in Training – who will both participate in and assist with the summer camp in a variety of ways.

Ithaca Media Arts CITs must meet the following qualifications to enroll in the program:

• At least 16 years old by the beginning of summer
• Attended Ithaca Media Arts Summer Camp for at least 2 weeks in previous summers
• Willing to assist counselors as needed
• Want to help and work with younger campers
• Enthusiastic attitude and interest in science, technology, and/or filmmaking
• Able to make a 2-week (minimum) commitment to the program

The CIT program is a full day 9am – 4:00pm schedule, but there’s flexibility if participants need to leave early or arrive late.

The fee for CIT program participants is approximately half of our regular camp fees, and goes down drastically (on a per week basis) when you register for 4 or more weeks. See drop down menu in PayPal button for complete details and to register today!

Here’s how it works

• C.I.T.s will assist counselors and help campers with projects for approximately half of their time on an as-needed basis.
• When not assisting counselors, C.I.T. s may work on their own projects and have the use of the studio facilities that are not being used by campers.

Note that participation in the C.I.T. program does not in any way guarantee or come with any promise of future employment at Ithaca Media Arts. We reserve the right to reject registrations based on eligibility and/or a limited number of available weekly C.I.T. slots. We will issue an immediate full refund in such cases.
