TECH PLAY – LAN PARTY + VR GAMES

Play Roblox games and Minecraft and take turns playing VR with Vive, explore new worlds while learning a bit about game making too using the popular ROBLOX online “digital sandbox” platform for game building, campers learn how to create their own places which they can even program themselves using the Lua scripting language. Minecraft “LAN party” group activities on our camp Minecraft server too! (For Game Design, take the Afternoon Program, from 1:30-4. This camp is the fun and games part!) Run by Gerry Roth, author of “ROBLOX Building Guide.”Campers in the earlier  1:30 – 3:30 camp may continue to Making and Modifying Video Games with ROBLOX & Minecraft, or switch to playing them!

Learn more advanced game building using Lua scripting, play ROBLOX and Minecraft together on our Camp LAN and co-exist in the same virtual worlds with other campers! Learn how to setup a game with ROBLOX, and learn more advanced game making using these online multi-player game platforms incorporating user generated games and scripting.

Multi-player gaming with Minecraft where campers will get to play together on the same server to compete or cooperate in building their environment. Plus, the Lego-style ROBLOX Studio platform enables campers to create their own online games!
